Tengeru
I am very happy to get the opportunity to celebrate the Holy Mass at Polish War Refugees Cemetery at Tengeru, near Arusha, and the to visit the last survivor of the Polish camp at Tengeru, still living in Arusha, Mr. Edward Wójtowicz. Here are some pictures of the day (click here)...

Mama
Just came back from the Rakowice cemetery in Kraków. It was dark and rainy. Close to the hour of closing the gates. Went to light a candle and pray at the grave of my Mama, Grandma and Grandpa. In just a few days I will fly to the unknown world and I do not know what to expect and what will happen. All my dreams and hopes I put in that tiny little flickering light of the candle. Asking Mama, Grandma and Grandpa to protect this journey and its outcome for the benefit of Kiabakari. Especially for the benefit of girls and ladies along with our Sisters, who still lack proper housing in Kiabakari...

Tengeru
My friends in Canada I am about to visit this autumn, asked me to come with pictures and videos of Polish Refugees Cemetery located in Tengeru, near Arusha, in Tanzania. Some of them are former refugees from Tengeru camp... This is not only about a place of burial of more than 130 Polish refugees who died while camped in Tengeru, one of several camps in East Africa where Polish citizens escaping from Soviet Union during second World War found refuge waiting for the war to end so they could go back to their homeland, loved ones and neighborhoods...
