I will build my...tank...
Amazing workers I am privileged to have, I have to say in full praise! They were able to pull an incredible feat. To finish laying concrete slab as a base for the water tank in less than 20 hours with such huge problems with water, borders on impossible! They are trashed now completely, so after paying them their dues and thanking with all my heart, I couldn't but wish them a good night, haha...
Let them rest and recover. Tomorrow we will put floor in two classrooms which have been already plastered. Then on Thursday we will start setting walls of the water tank. The concrete special profiles are ready. Time is of essence. Unless the water problem looms over the whole prospect of pushing forward as hard as possible, and makes it impossible, I do hope by the end of the next week we will be finishing walls of the tank and the school project will be done and dusted. So help us God, with a little help of Water Authority and Tanesco...
I am so happy to see this concrete rock on which we will build the tank! No more ugly bedrock and empty pit...Gone forever! So be it!
The last picture - John Paul II Center for education and Formation (under construction itself) awaiting water supply from this main water tank which is located at the top of Divine Mercy Hill, thus making the supply quite an easy task as gravitational forces will take of delivery to the receipients: The Center, Sisters' convent, Parochial House, the Health Center and the base for volunteers.... Pole pole ndio mwendo (slowly slowly is the right speed) as we say here in Tanzania!
