The Good News

The beatification of the Servant of God, Holy Father John Paul II, has hit headlines worldwide today. And the date set for the proclamation could not be better! The Divine Mercy Sunday is the perfect venue for the beatification Mass. Just yesterday during our meeting in the diocese, I asked the bishop to make sure he does not miss the Divine Mercy Sunday Mass in Kiabakari shrine. Now the announcement of the beatification on this precisely day changes the whole picture and makes my head spinning already, thinking how to merge the major pilgrimage day for hundreds of pilgrims with this happy event.
