With Clear And Resounding Voice
My church waited for 15 long years to get a decent professional P.A. system in place. At last we were able to purchase (half of the amount came from Xmas envelopes, half from benefactors) a good quality system in Mwanza and it took us full week to install and test it along with strengthening all church doors with extra security measures to deter any prospectove thieves... Now we can praise the Lord with clear and resounding voice... I am so happy and relieved!

It was so good to see the pictures of all the new school books just waiting for students -education opens the door to liberation ! And I loved the image of the women of Nyakiswa carrying the water -reminded my of the Gospel story at the Samaritan well. The woman are always great at the work !!!-strong backbone of the church everywhere. I read in the Irish Times to day that the Irish bishops are going to invite Pope Benedict to the Eucharistic Congress to be held here later in the year. That is a big step forward as State and Church relationship has deteriorated greatly here. I hope he will come - even the Taoisech said he would invite him if required. We'll wait and see. I love the way you keep on building and buying books etc even though you only have a bit of the money . You sure have great trust in Divine Providence. The construction of P.A system seemed quite complicated but now everyone will hear you and that is good . Keep implememting your vision -it is a great one. Lena
ReplyDeleteIndeed, it would be fantastic if the Holy Father comes. I will pray for this. The pa system was difficult to be installed, to be honest. Concrete walls and weak drills did not make it easier. And yesterday as welders were finishing strengthening doors of the church, they caused a short and the new amplifier got hit by it and now needs a repair. I am not happy to say the least... Anyway, I have to swallow this bitter pill and fix the new thing even before it is used for the first time...aaarrggghh...:(
