A Quiet Day?

Yeah, it was supposed to be a quiet day. An office routine day. As I am recovering from amoeba and fluctuating blood pressure, I wanted today just to stay home and be available to people coming to the office. And sure, they did come!

Sweet And Sour

Safely back home after a quick trip to Mwanza and to Dar - with Mare and Mare staying in Mwanza for two days, to get a feeling of the second largest city in Tanzania, and me hopping to Dar for business and coming back to collect M&M and drive back to Kiabakari. Everything would be perfect if not stomach bug which first got Marjanna, then Marija and now me. But I know the reason at least...

When the echo of a final word of the Prayer after Mass of altar servers faded away in the sacristy of our church, I grinned to myself and groaned incomprehensibly - 'no country for old men...' Three and a half hours in sauna temperatures of in fully packed church with zero air circulation. Give me a break! I felt even my teeth sweating in this condition...
