Kiabakari 1991-2014 - Polish Language Version

Proudly presenting a concerted effort of Prosonica Studio to prepare a Polish language version of the original Kiabakari 1991-2014 documentary movie of the history of Kiabakari mission and its planned future I made with my friend Mr. Aldimilablis Novatus in April this year.

The work of recording the Polish narration was done very nicely in my humble opinion and synchronizing with the movie scenes and English narration in the background is done well as well.

The Short Documentary On Kiabakari Mission History 1991-2014

I am proud to present to all my friends and readers our newest effort to record the history of Kiabakari mission. This is a short documentary, 17 minutes long, highlighting the main events and milestones on our way as we journey along in quest of fulfilling the Lord's Will in Kiabakari, in particular - completing the Divine Mercy vision in Kiabakari, embracing the whole person - spiritually, physically and intellectually. The video presents the current state of affairs in Kiabakari as of April 2014. It pinpoints also the main challenges we are facing and the priorities which need immediate attention and solutions.

Gratitude to Mr. Aldimilablis Novatus Mchele, my friend and filmmaker, who put together all pieces in one video presentation. Thanks to Mr Mitchell also for voice narration.

Uvumilivu Hula Mbivu

This is Swahili proverb meaning - 'patience eats ripe fruit'. Continuing my reflection in my morning post, I recall the time I was done with the construction of the new mission in Kiabakari back in July 1992 and as I was sitting in the house on the barren hill, I kept asking myself - 'when will I hear the singing of birds, playing in the trees around my house?' There were no trees at all on the hill at that time as you can see on these pictures taken in 1992 around the time of the official opening of the mission (July 28, 1992)...

Sadly, the English translation does not have the same translation as swahili one of Easter Vigil Gospel. It's a pity as in swahili the whole story of Risen Lord meeting women on the road and greeting them sounds quite different as Jesus greets the women using a common phrase used in daily life conversations...

Sadness, Gratitude, Hope

So sad to see someone you get used to live with and share daily struggles - go back to Poland. Today in a hour time we will have a short ceremony combined with lunch at health center, bidding farewell to Zosia, a volunteer nurse from Humanitarian Aid Foundation 'Redemptoris Missio', who lived with us and worked in Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati Health Center for six months since October last year till now...
