The Short Documentary On Kiabakari Mission History 1991-2014

I am proud to present to all my friends and readers our newest effort to record the history of Kiabakari mission. This is a short documentary, 17 minutes long, highlighting the main events and milestones on our way as we journey along in quest of fulfilling the Lord's Will in Kiabakari, in particular - completing the Divine Mercy vision in Kiabakari, embracing the whole person - spiritually, physically and intellectually. The video presents the current state of affairs in Kiabakari as of April 2014. It pinpoints also the main challenges we are facing and the priorities which need immediate attention and solutions.

Gratitude to Mr. Aldimilablis Novatus Mchele, my friend and filmmaker, who put together all pieces in one video presentation. Thanks to Mr Mitchell also for voice narration.

Late Christmas Gift

I am very happy that together with my friend, film professional and producer, Aldimilablis Novatus, we were able to complete the DVD project of the short movie on implementation of the First Aid Project in Kiabakari. Today I sent copies of the movie on DVDs via DHL to the headquarters of Foundation Kiabakari for further forwarding to people I want to get this late Christmas gift, in particular those involved directly in the project.

Weekly Top 40

I guess since last Friday this is a Number One on Weekly Top 40 of my filmmaker who is so dumb and suffers a brain fade that he cannot remember what the f..k he did with the master tapes of graduation day footage aaaargghhh &%^$@!*&% It's a massive unimaginable disappointment for all of us. This was the very first ever graduation in our pre-school and now he lost those tapes and can't remember what has happened! Or maybe some bad will involved too? Who knows? Anyway, understandably all of us are genuinely p...d off with this situation!

Kiabakari 1990-2010

I'm in Dar es Salaam at the moment, on my way home to Poland. 3G broadband in Vodacom mobile network allows me to upload internet version of the DVD on which English subtitles I was working for some time in past two weeks or so (with a great help of Rev. Sister Stephanie Blaszczynski, CR in proofreading - I am very grateful to her for committing her precious time to go through the text and for her remarks and suggestions, thank you so much!).

Satisfaction

People have different motivational schemes in their lives. Different reasons which rock their boats. The question what really drives one to excel, what it is that one yearns for as a compensation of one's efforts and struggle, will generate different answers. Sometimes we may get only a bunch of blank stares, incredulous looks of people who run on a money monorail only...

Subtitles

I had no idea how painstakingly difficult is to get subtitles right for language version of DVD on Kiabakari, and I guess on any movie out there in the world. For so many years, since I started to watch movies, never did a thought cross my mind how it was being done - those subtitles... Now I know.

DVD on Kiabakari

My new book, soon to be available in bookstores, will have an extra incentive which is a DVD produced by a friend of mine and myself last year in June. This is a short concise story on Divine Mercy vision in Kiabakari - its origin, beginnings, history and present state...some 29 minutes of intense footage.

It has been aired on TBC1 -Tanzanian national television - several times since July 2009. I've received overwhelmingly positive feedback from viewers throughout Tanzania.

Its success made me to decide to include Polish subtitles and prepare it for Polish market as well. English version is underway as well.

Each copy of the book will have this DVD enclosed as a free gift. It is my hope that moving pictures will speak volumes and make worthy supplement to what I've shared in the book itself.
