Bureau of the Mission Security

Yesterday evening I had a wonderful time with a group of people who I call fondly the Bureau of the Mission Security...

These are people who belong to the mission support group in my home parish of St. Kazimierz in Grzegórzki district of Kraków...Though just a handful of them - at times ten, at times twenty or more - they were supportive of me for the past twenty years of my missionary apostolate in Tanzania - with their prayers, public relation activities, meetings, missionary awareness campaigns, church fund-raisers to support my cause in Kiabakari...

Most of them are elderly citizens, in their retirement period of life, struggling with health issues, poverty, family troubles, yet with grand open hearts ready to offer their love, kindness, care and help in whatever way possible under circumstances of their lives...

It was great to meet them again yesterday evening, together with our parish priest. We had a wonderful time together, chatting, sharing, reconnecting and signing my book for them as I wished to offer my new book to each one of them as my personal token of gratitude and appreciation for what they have been doing for Kiabakari and myself for those twenty past years...

Just like Moses praying on the hilltop with his arms outstretched to God and supported by others, I may cointinue to toil in the Lord's Vineyard in Kiabakari, supported by my Bureau of the Mission Security...

May God bless them all and keep them in good health, peace and happiness!

  1. Greetings Wojciech - I had pages of blogs to read as I was away for 2 weeks but now I am up to date.Reading your departure preparations from kiabakari it seemed like you were flying around on roller skates - the territory you covered before take off was amazing. It is great you have a few days in Poland before setting out on your Abraham journey. Of course you had difficulties getting to Warsaw - the story of your life but what a gift of fortitude you have; unsurpassed in anyone I ever met. I wish you many blessings on your fundraising mission and I hope you come back with buckets full of dollars as it is usually buckets of sand and water you are carrying. Of course you won't be long until you convert the dollars buckets into buckets of sand and cement so we come full circle.
I will be thinking of you as you fly over Ireland. You are in our prayers and hearts as you continue on your faith and hope journey!
Lots of love and good wishes from the Daly clan

  2. I was worried what might happen to you, been long time, but since I got no other news via alternative channels, I presumed everything was fine but busy with your tight schedule. In the morning I will start my journey, first to Warsaw, then on Friday to Montreal via Zurich, hopefully no nasty surprises this time.

Frankly, I do not expect bucketloads of money, no. If God blesses this journey with some help, I would be extremely happy for my sisters who need proper lodging. But most of all, I want to see a piece of new world, new people, make friends and share some news on Kiabakari and our struggle...

Thank you for you prayers and wishes, I appreciate them immensely! Regards, love and respect to you, Tom and all friends in Ireland. I hope one day we meet again :) Stay blessed! I will continue with updates of this blog whenever it is possible.
