120

On January 6, 1891 God called a widow, Celine Borzecka, and her daughter Hedwig to begin the Congregation of the Sisters of the Resurrection in Rome. Today we celebrate the 120th Anniversary of the birth of this remarkable family of women religious. The only African mission of the congregation is located just 10 kilometers from Kiabakari, in Buturu, where Sisters run Chief Wanzagi Girls'Secondary School. I salute the whole congregation, wish them God's blessings and protection, praying for them and for all intentions dear to their hearts.
